The Denon DJ Prime GO has  been in my studio for at least several months now.  I've created a video to show what I like, dislike, and wish was different.  Nonetheless, I enjoy using this thing and practicing.  If you're a DJ, I think this might be a worthy tool for your tool kit!

I have fully transfered everything over to the new awesome and BADASS MacBook Pro 13"!  Very excited about this (if you didn't already know, LOL).

The party may be cancelled in public venues, but it doesn't mean people can't party on their own.  There may be an avenue for this type of service.  Custom mixes for clients.  That would be cool!

OKAY, guys... so I didn't get selected for the @EDMDriveIn opening set opportunity.  I was a little bummed when I didn't see my name on the list.  But, I know that you only lose when you DO NOT submit.  That's the whole thing with competitions... you have no idea what or if the judges are even looking for anything.  Is it large amount of followers?  Specific music genre?  A certain look?  Who knows!  It's usually not off of skill, haha!  I say that because I knew some other well known DJs in San Antonio who also got passed up.  Sometimes that's just how it is.

So what next... Do I mope and feel depressed about the missed opportunity?  Absolutely not!  I took the time after the competition to complete my next EP "Skinny Dip" which will release in August.  I'm also realigning my marketing plan to better fit different revenue streams.  This recent 'No' has provided me more drive to continue honing in my craft as an artist and creator. 

I'm very excited about the future and I have faith that I will succeed in this industry.  Good things are coming because the hard work is happening :)

San Antonio is having an event called @EDMDriveIn.  I reached out about getting an opening slot and it turns out they decided to offer a compeition for local DJs to 'fight' for a spot.  So I did it!  I crammed 15 songs into this 30 minutes and offered up 2 originals and 2 mashups to personalize this mix a little bit more.  I hope you like it!

I lead off this mix by playing one of the fan favorites off of my EP which is a track titled 'Giving Up'.  It leads off this mix, but mainly because I hope people dig the track and then go check out the amazing music video!

I have my first debut for the electronic music show called, Nebula.  It is hosted by this talented artist and DJ, Chuy.  The crew of DJs that show up to this event have unmatched talent and passion for electronic music.  Ambient, house, techno, and electro, will fill the air waves of the Web House building.  I'm pumped to get in this line up.  I'm previewing some new music, too.  I hope to see you there :)

I've played my last live gig with some awesome DJs this week!  I've been DJing for these hOUR Sessions since May and I can tell, it really is an amazing treat.  I can free my soul and play the sweetest house music.  The crowd is filled with DJs and #EDMFamily.  It is a blessing to be able to perform at this venue and event.

I'll be back it in 2020.  If you're in San Antonio and love EDM... you gotta check this night out!

Here's the new mix!

  A couple of times a month I get an opportunity in San Antonio, Texas, to play some sweet house music.  It's an open format opportunity and I set myself free with house music.  I put this mix together with some favorite tracks that I've enjoyed playing the past few months.  I hope you enjoy it!  2019 has been awesome.

I had an amazing event this past weekend.  I played music that had a healthy mix of house and 'ratchet'.  It was beautiful and I had so much fun.  The cops shut us down right at 10PM (yeah, thanks Grand Hyatt!).  But it was a great event anyway.  I love what I do and am excited to get back into the nightlife! Stay happy, my friends.  :)

Summer is such an exciting time of the year!  You can go out and be comfortable in a T-Shirt without having lug around a jacket when you're in the club.  You can also always find something to do before the sun sets for the evening.  Here's a quick short list on why I love Summer:

• New music is released from the world's Top DJs
• Swim trunks are the new khakis
• White jeans are back in
• And finally... DRIVE IN MOVIES!

Oh, and I almost forgot about the best out there:  Rooftop parties!  My goals is to land a rooftop gig this summer.  Playing great music under the stars and sharing the night with a bunch of party-goers.  Ahhhh, I can feel the fun now.
